Our Fujian Maojian is hand picked and uses only high quality leaves, which are gently hand rolled and roasted to give the tea its twisted shape and dark green colour. It is a perfect example of delicate Chinese green teas with a very light liquor and floral aroma .

INTRODUCTION:

This is a rare wild growing LongJing grown in the mountains of Chunan at over 1300m. Its quality is shown in the large buds and through its strong chestnut aroma paired with a light orchid fragrance.

ORIGIN:

INTRODUCTION:

Tightly rolled balls of leaves that resemble gunpowder pellets, which along with the slightly smokey taste gives the tea it’s name, but also allows it to be kept much longer than other teas. Bold and lightly smokey in flavour, this is a great everyday green tea, which is also used as a base in mint tea preparations in Morocco.

INTRODUCTION:

One of the most popular blended teas in Japan, our Organic Genmaicha is made of sencha blended with roasted brown rice which balances the vegetal notes of the green tea with the light sweetness and nuttiness of the rice. Pairs very well with food.

INTRODUCTION:

Our Organic Kukicha Karigane (twig tea) is highly prized, made by selecting only quality stems and twigs from the tea plants used for Gyokuro which are then very lightly roasted. A unique tea that is slightly sweet, Kukicha contains minimal caffeine making it a great evening or night time drink.

A robust tea with toasty caramel notes and a strong roasted flavour. Our Houjicha is made by roasting quality, organic bancha tea at high temperatures. Due to the roasting, this tea has a negligible caffeine content meaning it is great with evening meals or at night.
